As an Electronics Engineer, you will work closely with our customers, committed colleagues and exciting products in a well-established company on the offensive!  You work within a global group and have contacts with developers in other group companies and with production companies within and outside Sweden/VPG.

Job Description

As an Electronics Design Engineer at BLH Nobel, you will work together with sales representatives, sales companies, systems department, etc. to develop the right product and ensure the right technical design. You are also responsible for contacts with international technical institutes and companies for the verification and certification of products.

You will be responsible for the entire chain from specification, through design, verification, documentation, education, etc. The main task is to develop and maintain different types of instruments used with our load cells. Instruments and load cells are used in all types of industries e.g. offshore, vehicles, process industries, mines, steel industry etc.

You will work with a development team in Karlskoga but also with different subcontractors, consulting companies, etc. The work can include visits to institutes for testing and certification as well as field tests at customer sites. Exhibitions, courses for further education and supplier visits are also part of the work.

Education and experience

The successful applicant will require an MSc in Electronics or alternatively BSc in Electronics with several years of experience.  You will demonstrate initiative, structure and good cooperation.  You will have the skills to create and maintain long term business relationships. Knowledge in programming would be preferred but not essential.

Both spoken and written Swedish and English would be advantageous. Driving license is a requirement.
