G6 Crane Software
Building on the G6 modular platform launched in 2024, the new G6 Crane software provides specialized capabilities for overhead crane weighing applications.
Key capabilities include:
Main Hoist Configuration: Users can configure 1-8 input channels (1-6 on rail mount versions) as a main hoist, with remaining channels functioning as auxiliary hoists. This flexibility accommodates various crane configurations and operational requirements.
Service Information Tracking: The software monitors and records operational data including full load hours, maximum loads, operating timers, and activation counts. This information supports preventive maintenance planning and operational analysis.
Crane Viewing Modes: Multiple viewing options provide operators with main hoist weight, side A and side B readings, difference calculations, sum of all channels, and individual channel monitoring.
Additional Features: Mean value calculation provides stable weight readings during load swing. Rope way compensation capability allows for external encoder integration to account for rope weight. Remote access functionality enables live view and service information retrieval, particularly valuable for rail mount installations.
The G6 Crane software supports standard communication protocols including Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and DeviceNet.
Technical documentation available in English and Swedish, with additional languages in preparation.
