A load cell manufacturer and your
single source for weighing systems & instruments
Sourcing a weighing system from separate suppliers means matching a sensor to an amplifier to an instrument that were never designed to work together, and chasing several vendors when something needs support. The accuracy you actually get is only as good as the weakest link in that chain.
BLH Nobel removes that risk. As an experienced load cell manufacturer and a single source for weighing systems and instruments, we design and build every element of the chain in-house: load cells and weigh modules, force measurement sensors, process weighing instruments, custom solutions, and the calibration and service behind them. Each is engineered for the precision, robustness and longevity that industrial weighing and force measurement demand.
The result is one accountable partner, from a single load cell to a complete weighing system, with products field-proven in more than 100 countries and the hardest environments on earth.

Every link in the measurement chain, built under one roof
When one company designs the sensor, the electronics, the instrument and the calibration, they're engineered to work together, and there's one partner to call for the life of the system.
Load cells & weigh modules
Designed and machined in-house
Amplifiers
Analogue or embedded, Ex & safety
Process instruments
Networked, configurable
Software
250+ application packages
Calibration & service
Accredited, traceable, lifetime
One accountable partner instead of four invoices and four support lines, fewer integration surprises, faster commissioning, dependable accuracy.
Tailored to your application, not the other way around
Many of our standard products can be modified to your exact requirements, and when that isn't enough, we design and manufacture a completely new product from scratch.
SensingCustom load cells & weigh modules
Whatever your application demands, ultra-high-strength, stainless or super duplex, we design a load cell to match. Measure tension, compression, shear, bending or torque, or several at once. Third-party approvals for structural design, ingress protection, materials and dimensions are easily arranged.
SignalAnalogue or embedded amplifier
Highly temperature-compensated mV/V analogue output for any of our transmitters and indicators, or an embedded amplifier with calibration data stored in the load cell itself. Choose the fixed LCAMP 300 or the unique field-replaceable LCAMP 100, available in Ex-versions, single or redundant, and for functional safety use.
ControlInstrumentation & software your way
Our process weighing instruments are known for reliability, ease of use and easy communication with factory networks. Choose from more than 250 application software packages, each further adaptable to your exact needs, with tailor-made software when a custom solution calls for it.
SystemsComplete tailored solutions
Whether you're an OEM designer or running a plant that needs a new system or a replacement for an existing machine, we solve the difficult challenges, from converting a crane in a steel mill to building a weighing system for a pharmaceutical pilot plant, delivering the complete system, not just the part.
From your requirement to a running system
A simple, customer-focused approach that has stayed the same for decades, we work closely with you at every step.

Calibration you can prove, not just promise
Our Swedish facility is an accredited force laboratory, so the accuracy you specify is backed by traceable, documented calibration.
-
Accredited force laboratory (AMP 1156) in Sweden, in compliance with SS-EN ISO 17025 since 1984.
-
Calibration in force ranges from 2 N to 2 MN, with best measurement capability of 0.02% (2 N–2 kN), 0.05% (2 kN–1 MN) and 0.1% (1 MN–2 MN).
-
Calibrated to BLH Nobel validated methods or SS-EN ISO 376, with full traceability to national and international standards.
-
Production masters re-calibrated annually, full traceability on every load cell we produce.
Asked to solve a critical dispensing and weighing challenge, our custom solution didn't just meet the vaccine manufacturer's accuracy target, it beat it.
About BLH Nobel custom products
Is BLH Nobel a load cell manufacturer?
Yes. BLH Nobel designs and manufactures load cells, weigh modules and force measurement sensors in-house, as a brand of Vishay Precision Group (NYSE: VPG), with a heritage tracing back to the invention of the strain gage and the Swedish KIS load cell.
Can BLH Nobel supply a complete weighing system?
Yes. We supply the whole chain from one source, load cells, amplifiers, process weighing instruments and software, plus calibration and service, so every part is engineered to work together.
Can a load cell be customized?
Yes. We modify materials, dimensions, sealing for submersion and tolerance for extreme temperatures, and measure tension, compression, shear, bending or torque, or design an entirely new product for your application. Start with our template form.
Are BLH Nobel calibrations accredited?
Yes. Our Swedish force laboratory (AMP 1156) has been in compliance with SS-EN ISO 17025 since 1984, calibrating from 2 N to 2 MN with full traceability to national standards. See the laboratory.
Which industries does BLH Nobel serve?
Metal, mining, offshore, pulp & paper, food & beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive and sawmills, typically in demanding, high-accuracy or harsh environments.
Where are BLH Nobel products used?
In service in more than 100 countries, across some of the hardest industrial environments on earth.
Bring us your most difficult weighing challenge.
If your current solution doesn't measure up, our engineers will design one that does, in-house, from a single load cell to a complete weighing system, supported for its full lifetime.
