- Custom load cells engineered for your crane. Our KOSD, KIMD and KISD designs are tailored to each application - dimensions, capacity, mounting and environment - for a precise fit with no compromise on accuracy. Capacities reach into the thousands of tons.
- The G6 instrument with dedicated crane weighing software. Building on the field-proven G4 platform, the G6 summarises multiple load-cell channels into a main hoist while monitoring auxiliary hoists, detects imbalances, compensates for rolled-out rope and reads stable values even on a swinging load.
- Real-time load monitoring and lifecycle measurement. Track live weight, full-load hours, maximum loads and overload events to support process control, preventive maintenance and reduced downtime.
- ATEX/IECEx certified load cells. Robust sensing built for humidity, vibration, extreme temperatures and corrosive or explosive atmospheres, with IP67 ingress protection.
- Flexible integration. mV/V or 4–20 mA outputs and protocols including Modbus, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, DeviceNet and EtherNet/IP let the system adapt to your equipment instead of forcing changes to it.

Across Swedish sites operating a fleet of more than 200 cranes, the customer needed heavy-duty, highly accurate weighing systems that could be retrofitted without disrupting production — where every hour of downtime costs roughly $100,000.
After reviewing 100 of the most critical cranes, BLH Nobel designed and manufactured custom load cells and instrumentation for a precise fit, installing them during scheduled service stops with no modifications to the crane structures. The result: high-accuracy weighing now runs on more than 100 overhead and gantry cranes — including five 320-ton cranes lifting molten steel — delivering 0.25% accuracy, real-time load data for process control, reliable overload detection and the monitoring needed for preventive maintenance.
